When beginning the search for a wedding photographer, I was initially drawn to Jenelle because of her beautiful portfolio. Once I began talking to Jenelle, her responsiveness, care, and warmth were what made it clear that I wanted to have her as our wedding photographer. I learned quickly when planning a wedding that you can tell a lot about a vendor by how they respond to you, and Jenelle is no exception. In an industry where it feels like vendors just want your money and that you're just another inquiry, Jenelle made it evident that she truly cared about me, my partner, and the investment of our photos. 

Before our wedding, we booked an engagement session with Jenelle. I am not someone who is typically comfortable in front of a camera. What I thought would be a stiff and awkward experience, Jenelle turned into a fun, light experience for my partner and me that, to my surprise, felt so special. I was so impressed with her turnaround time, and the photos we received were absolutely gorgeous. I got so many compliments on our engagement photos and friends who were also planning weddings asked for her contact information (that's how you know!). 

Our engagement lasted about a year and a half, and Jenelle was there every step of the way. She would check in periodically but more importantly, would answer my emails about photos, timelines, and general planning questions with thoughtfulness and helpful information. 

On our wedding day, I could talk for hours about how wonderful she was at capturing our day. She was quick, efficient, independent, and a true delight. What I was not expecting was how above and beyond she went in order to make the day successful. She helped our schedule stay on time, consulted my bridesmaids on what to do, was available to anyone who had any questions, and even helped my Maid of Honor button up my dress. She was funny, direct, calm, and overall a joyful addition to our crew that day.

Jenelle is more than just a photographer; She was a planning consultant, invaluable day-of assistance and reassurance, and felt like another friend who was a part of our big day. I would recommend Jenelle's services to anyone looking for an above-and-beyond wedding photographer, who not to mention produces stunning photos.
